A tragic road accident took place on Jind-Hansi road in Narnaund of Hisar district. Late on Sunday night, a high-speed dumper hit a bike near the village Rajthal. In the accident, the bike rider, 59-year-old Surendra, died on the spot. His grandson, Vivek suffered minor injuries. On receiving the information of the case, the police have registered a case against the dumper driver and started investigation. The incident happened around 9 pm.
Sudden cut from dumper
According to the information, Surendra was going back to his village Ital Khurd from Dadi Gauri Mandir village Bure Badhya with his grandson Vivek. Near Rajthal Naka, a dumper coming from the front suddenly cut. Due to this, the bike lost balance and both fell on the road. The tire of the dumper went over Surendra’s head, and due to that he died on the spot.
After the accident, the dumper driver fled, leaving the vehicle. Vivek noted down the number of the dumper and informed the family members. Both were taken to the civil hospital of Narnaund. Doctors declared Surendra dead. Vivek suffered three minor injuries, he was discharged after first aid.
Police registered a case and started investigation
Sub Inspector Jasbir Singh reached the spot after getting the information. Police have registered a case against the unknown dumper driver for speeding and negligent driving. The postmortem of the deceased Surendra will be done in the civil hospital of Hansi.
