Jind: In Haryana’s Jind, while trying to avoid hitting a car, a truck lost control and rammed into a divider. It broke the grill and stopped 10 meters away. The car driver fled from the spot. The truck driver is injured. The incident happened around 3 am. The front part of the truck was badly damaged in the accident.
The truck driver was coming towards the city at around 3 am on the way to the new bus stand under the flyover on the Gohana Road bypass. At the same time, a speeding car came in front to climb the bypass and the truck driver lost control to avoid colliding with that car.
The truck escaped from colliding with the car, but broke the grill on the divider and went about 10 meters deep. The driver got injured and the front part of the truck got badly damaged. A couple of people sitting at a tea stall in front saw the accident and immediately informed Dial 112 and the ambulance.
After getting the information, the ambulance reached the spot and took the injured truck driver to the hospital. Truck driver Captain said that this accident happened while trying to avoid hitting the car. If the car had been hit, the accident could have been bigger.
