Rohtak: A two-day meeting of the state executive of Sarva Karamchari Sangh Haryana was held on June 15–16 at the Karamchari Bhawan in Rohtak. It was chaired by State President Dharamvir Phogat. The changed political environment after the Lok Sabha elections was discussed in detail in the meeting. Before the elections, the threatening statements made by former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal regarding the employees were considered extremely unfortunate and irresponsible. The employees of Haryana worked hard and conducted the Lok Sabha elections peacefully and impartially without any complaint or grievance, despite inadequate arrangements for food and accommodation.
He said that a person during election duty in Sonipat also lost his life. But during the 9-year tenure of Manohar Lal, no hearing was done by the government. On the contrary, the government adopted the path of repression and resorted to lathi. In such a situation, such negative language towards the employees is just an attempt by Manohar Lal to hide his failure, and it is accepted that instead of solving the problems and demands of the employees, he tried to suppress them in every way and break the unions.
State President Dharamvir Phogat said that in the state executive meeting, it was decided to struggle for their demands and issues. And extended meetings of the districts will be held from June 19 to June 28.
Meetings of the concerned organizations will be held until June 25. From July 16 to July 26, a memorandum of demands will be given by holding huge demonstrations in the districts. To make preparations for all these programs, four teams were also formed under the leadership of Dharamvir Phogat, Naresh Kumar, Suresh Nohra, Naresh Shastri, Sandeep Sangwan, Jarnail Singh, Sukhdarshan Saroha, and Electricity Union Chairman Devendra Hooda.
State President Dharamvir Phogat said that regularization is a big demand for the employees; the employees do not accept the matter of giving half the pension of the last scale instead of restoring the old pension system. By dissolving Kaushal Rozgar Nigam and making all temporary employees permanent, regular recruitment should be done on vacant posts in the departments as per rules. The condition of the first 5 years and the last 3 years in the ex-gratia policy should be removed immediately. There has been no increase in the salary of temporary and part-time employees for the last four to five years. The decisions of the Hon’ble High Court should be generalized in the matter of giving salary hikes to employees retiring in June on commutation and in June. Cashless medical facilities should be made applicable to retired employees as well.
