Haryana: Two people were injured in an accident on GT Road in Panipat around 2.30 pm on Monday. The drainage pipe of the elevated highway broke and fell. Two people traveling in the car were injured when the pipe fell. Around six vehicles and bikes were damaged. One injured person has been admitted to a nearby private hospital.
According to the information, this drainage pipe has been installed to drain the rain water from the elevated highway. It has fallen from a height of about 50 feet. After the accident, there was a long jam on GT Road. After a lot of effort, the police moved the vehicles aside and normalized the traffic.
