Bhiwani: Two prisoners lodged in Bhiwani District Jail died in the jail today. Both have been brought to the Civil Hospital of Bhiwani for a post-mortem.
It is being told that both prisoners were ill. Action is being taken in the case by the Sadar Police Station.
Sombir, a resident of Hetampura village, was lodged in the Bhiwani District Jail in a transaction case. He was found dead in his barracks this morning. The jail authorities were informed about this. His body was taken to the Civil Hospital of Bhiwani for a post-mortem. On receiving the information, investigating officer ASI Virendra from Sadar Police Station reached the hospital and started investigating the incident.
Informed the family about his death. But even after several hours, the family could not reach them, and the police kept waiting for them to come. On a primary basis, the jail administration is saying that Sombir was ill for the last several days and was getting treatment from doctors in the jail itself. The investigating officer, ASI Virendra, said that further action would be taken only after his family arrived.

His body has also been taken to the civil hospital for a postmortem, but his family members have also not been able to reach the hospital, due to which police action could not be completed.
