Palwal: In two separate road accidents in Palwal district, an unknown vehicle hit two bikes. Two people, including a woman, died in the accident, while the woman’s husband was seriously injured. The police have handed over the postmortems of the dead bodies to the family members. The injured youth was going to Maneshwar with his wife.
Sadar police station in-charge Manoj Kumar said that Raj Kumar, a resident of Bhind in Madhya Pradesh, has complained that his nephew Ankush used to work as a labour supervisor in Gurugram. An unknown person told Ankush’s brother Mukesh on the phone that Ankush had been injured in a road accident. A woman has also been injured, along with Ankush. This accident happened on the flyover of Bahraula village on National Highway 19.
After getting the information, he reached the District Civil Hospital of Palwal with his family members. After reaching the hospital, he came to know that an unknown vehicle had hit Ankush’s bike. Due to this, Ankush and his wife, Sushma, are seriously injured. Sushma died in this accident, while Ankush is undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.
At the same time, Camp police station’s investigating officer Ranjeet said that Bijan, a resident of Baghola village, has lodged a complaint that his brother-in-law Hetram, a resident of Ferozepur Jhirka, was living with him for about two years and worked in a hotel. He received information that Hetram was seriously injured after being hit by an unknown vehicle near Alavalpur Chowk in Palwal. Hetram was taken to the district civil hospital, from where he was referred to Nalhar Medical College due to his critical condition. Hetram died during treatment on Friday night.
