Chandigarh: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is coming to Chandigarh on July 4. For this, the Chandigarh administration has started preparations. He will address a public meeting in Mandara. Along with this, he will also inaugurate the water supply project prepared by the Municipal Corporation.
After this, he will also inaugurate the center built on three new laws in the Chandigarh Civil Secretariat. For this, the administration has started preparations. Advisor Rajiv Verma is constantly holding meetings with the officials of the administration, and instructions are also being given regarding the preparations.
All three laws passed by the Central Government have come into force from July 1 in the entire country, including Chandigarh. In this, the Indian Justice Code 2023, Indian Civil Defense Code 2023, and Indian Evidence Act 2023 were passed by the Central Government.
Now cases are being registered in criminal cases under these laws. Chandigarh Police has set up a center for 24-hour monitoring of cases registered under these laws. It will be inaugurated by the Union Home Minister.
Amit Shah will hand over appointment letters to 142 IT constables recruited in Chandigarh. Recently, after the completion of the recruitment process, the Chandigarh administration declared their result. For the first time in the entire country, IT experts have been recruited at the constable level.
These constraints will help in preventing the increasing digital and cyber fraud in the country. Earlier, the country’s first center was set up in Chandigarh to prevent cyber fraud. They will be deployed here and will work to prevent such fraud across the country.
