Panchkula: Sirsa and Hisar of Haryana are currently among the hottest cities in the country. Hisar used to be the hottest in the last few years but now Sirsa is experiencing the most heat.
The reason for this is that hot winds coming from Rajasthan are affecting north-west Haryana. These winds are blowing in a certain direction, and this has been happening for 15 consecutive days. Due to which Sirsa remains the hottest.
Meteorologists are also surprised that the temperature has remained above 45 degrees for 15 consecutive days, which is a record in itself. Similar situation will remain in the coming days as well. Districts of Haryana adjoining Rajasthan may remain hotter. In Sirsa, the temperature has remained around 49 degrees and 50 degrees for two consecutive days. At the same time, the temperature in Hisar is around 48 degrees. Its effect can be seen on the common life.
Hisar’s 26-year-old record broken
The temperature is suddenly rising in Sirsa, while in Hisar too, the heat has broken all previous records. The highest temperature recorded in Hisar so far was 48.8 degrees Celsius in the year 1998. But on Tuesday, the temperature was recorded at 49.3 degrees in AWS located in Balsamand, Hisar. Which is the highest in 26 years.
Some relief expected on May 31

This time too, the day temperature is likely to continue to increase till May 31, along with hot western winds i.e. heat wave is likely to blow.
During this time, due to the increase in temperature, light clouds and dusty winds are likely to blow intermittently.
