Ludhiana: After receiving backlash over decision to join Congress party ahead of Haryana Assembly Polls, renowned devotional singer Kanhaiya Mittal has finally backtracked from his own statement. He has withdrawn his decision to join Congress. Kanhaiya Mittal went live on his social media platform on Tuesday afternoon and apologized to the people and said that.

Ludhiana: After receiving backlash over decision to join Congress party ahead of Haryana Assembly Polls, renowned devotional singer Kanhaiya Mittal has finally backtracked from his own statement. He has withdrawn his decision to join Congress. Kanhaiya Mittal went live on his social media platform on Tuesday afternoon and apologized to the people and said that he would listen to the Sanatanis and choose the Sanatanis over anything.

Kanhaiya Mittal went live today on his facebook handle and said,  “he realized that all his Sanatani brothers and sisters, especially the top leadership of BJP, love him so much and I want to apologize to everyone.”

Withdrawing his statement, Kanhaiya Mittal said, “Everyone is worried and whatever I had said in my Mann Ki Baat that I am joining Congress, I take back this statement.” He added that he doesn’t want to break the trust of Sanatanis and thus has dropped his decision of joining the congress party.

Kanhaiya Mittal further said “we all belong to Ram and will remain with Ram. Once again I apologize to everyone.”

Earlier, he had stated about joining the Congress party on 8 September. He said that he would be sharing more information in the coming time but within two days of the announcement after receiving backlash over his decision, Kanhiya dropped his decision to join Congress.
