Panipat: A woman committed suicide by hanging herself under suspicious circumstances in Thermal Colony of Panipat district of Haryana. The woman’s husband had gone to work.
When he returned in the evening, he saw his wife hanging from the noose. After which he screamed and gathered the rest of the family and local people.
The family members who reached the spot immediately brought her down. After this, the police was also informed. The police who reached the spot took all the necessary action and sent the body to the civil hospital. The woman’s maternal family was informed and reached Panipat on Monday.
According to the information received, the deceased was identified as Neha Devi (26). The woman was originally from Siwan, Bihar. Recently she lived with her husband Dilip Kumar and 7-year-old daughter in Sundar Nagar, Thermal Colony.
Like usual, her husband had gone to work on Saturday. She was alone with her daughter at home. At around 11 am, she borrowed a rope from a woman in the neighbourhood. After this, she sent her daughter to play at her uncle’s house in the neighbourhood.
After this, she hanged herself. When her husband returned home at around 6 pm, he saw this incident. She had written on her hand with a pen that I am dying because of my daughter.
