Workshop of Transport Ministry of 12 states in Chandigarh, Minister Anil Vij will inaugurate

In the workshop being organized by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, brainstorming will be done among the state representatives to make the online services being provided to the citizens more effective.

A two-day workshop of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for 12 states, including Haryana, will be held in Chandigarh. Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij will inaugurate this workshop today. Members of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways including Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Delhi and Chandigarh will participate in this workshop.

In the workshop being organized by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, brainstorming will be done among the state representatives to make the online services being provided to the citizens more effective.

Actually, the central government provides online services through the Vahan and Sarathi apps of the Transport Department. All the states are also connected to these apps. Now the government is working on providing good upgraded online services to the people through these apps. For this, a two-day workshop of these twelve states has been organized in Chandigarh.

Vahan and Sarathi are two different online portals operated by the Government of India, which are designed to streamline and digitalize transport related services.
