Gurugram: A young man died after being crushed under a bus in Sector 35, Gurugram. After this, the angry mob vandalized several buses and police vehicles. The mob also pelted stones at the police, who came to pacify the people. Due to this, policemen were also injured.
A man named Monu, who worked in Padmini VNA Company located in Sector 35, Gurugram, died in the morning after being hit by a bus of the company itself. Fellow employees working for the company say that the company guards did not hand over the accused driver to the police. Rather, they helped him escape from there, due to which the angry employees vandalized several company buses.
After this, stones were also pelted at the police, who reached the spot. Police vehicles were also vandalized. When the stone-pelting happened, a heavy police force was called, and the crowd was pacified. At the same time, they were assured that the accused driver would be arrested and strict action would be taken against him.
Let us tell you that the deceased Monu worked at Padmini Company, and he reached the company in the morning. He was standing down after getting down from the bus when the bus ran over him while backing. After this, he died. The fellow employees present on the spot did not allow the body to be lifted and demanded appropriate action from the police. After which, the police assured to take strict action. After which, the whole matter cooled down.
The police are currently engaged in an investigation into this whole case. The accused driver, Ashish, has been arrested by the police. The body of the deceased has been sent to the hospital for a post-mortem.
