Young man killed in hit and run on NH-44 in Ambala

An unknown vehicle hit a young man while crossing the road on NH 44 in Ambala. The people around were taking the young man to the hospital in critical condition.

Ambala, June 14: An unknown vehicle hit a young man while crossing the road on NH 44 in Ambala. The people around were taking the young man to the hospital in critical condition. But he died on the way. After which, the brother of the deceased has complained about this matter. The police have started an investigation after registering the complaint.

Gurmeet Singh, a resident of Dadiyana village, told in his complaint that his brother Ravel Singh was crossing the road near Dadiyana village on Friday evening for some work. During this time, an unidentified speeding vehicle hit the young man. The young man got injured after the collision. After which people gathered nearby.

People immediately called the ambulance and the police. The injured was taken to the Civil Hospital in Ambala city by ambulance. But by the time he reached there, the young man had died. Now the police have registered a case on the complaint of the deceased’s brother and have started an investigation.

He was returning home from work

The deceased’s brother, Gurmeet Singh, said that his brother Ravel Singh used to work as a labourer in Ambala. At the time of the accident, he was returning home from work. Gurmeet said that while he was crossing the road, he was hit by a vehicle.

He was the father of 2 children and was divorced from his wife

The deceased’s brother, Gurmeet Singh, said that his brother Ravel Singh was already divorced. He has a son and a daughter who live with his divorced wife. Now the police registered a case in this matter late on Friday night. After registering the case, the police are now engaged in identifying the vehicle.
