Karnal: A 27-year-old youth from Panipat died under suspicious circumstances at his in-laws’ house in Karnal, Haryana. The youth lived at his in-laws’ house, where he was admitted to the hospital after his health deteriorated.
The family of the youth has made serious allegations against the in-laws of beating and poisoning him. As soon as the police got information about the incident, they reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. The police is investigating the matter and is closely examining all the possibilities.
The deceased has been identified as Ankit, a resident of Israna in Panipat, who was 27 years old. Ankit got married 8 months ago, on January 21, in Katabagh, Karnal. For 4 months, Ankit was living in his in-laws’ house, due to which his family members were not able to get much information about him.
The deceased’s uncle Suresh and father alleged that Ankit was being constantly harassed at his in-laws’ house. His condition has seen a steady decline since Rakshabandhan. The family claims that his condition deteriorated so much that he was admitted to a private hospital.
