Youth serving Kanwariyas shot in Fatehabad

The injured youth was taken to Rattakheda CHC where he was given first aid

A youth serving Kanwariyas in Rattakheda village of Fatehabad was shot by a person from the same village. The bullet hit the youth near his waist. The injured youth was taken to Rattakheda CHC where he was given first aid and referred to Agroha Medical College.

It is being said that the bullet was fired near the temple when the program of offering Kanwar was over and the youth and his companions were busy collecting their belongings. On receiving the information of the incident, DSP Narsingh, City Police Station in-charge Ranjeet Singh reached the spot at night and inquired about the matter. At present, the police is engaged in investigation.

Teams formed to arrest accused: Police

SP spokesperson Vinod Kumar says that three teams have been formed to arrest the accused. Kuldeep (25) of Rattakheda village was busy serving the Kanwariyas who brought Kanwar from Haridwar in the Shiva temple of the village on Wednesday night. When the program was over around 10:30 pm, Kuldeep and his companions were busy collecting their belongings outside the temple.

It is alleged that at that time, Vishnu alias Dogar Bishnoi of the same village came near the temple on a bike with two-three of his companions. As soon as he arrived, he shot Kuldeep with the illegal pistol in his hand. The bullet hit Kuldeep near his waist.
