Havoc of high speed ​​in Ambala: Car driver strikes woman, died on spot

On Tuesday, a speeding car wreaked havoc in Ambala, right in front of the Saha Police Station. The out-of-control vehicle struck a woman who was crossing the road, and the driver fled the scene with the car immediately after the collision. The woman died on the spot in this tragic accident.

Upon receiving the information, the police took custody of the body and initiated an investigation. The deceased woman has been identified as 33-year-old Devi Chand, a resident of Pasiala village. It is reported that the woman was passing through the vicinity of the police station at the time the accident occurred.

The impact of the collision was so severe that the woman did not even have a chance to react or save herself. Naseeb Singh of Pasiala village stated that he witnessed the speeding car strike the woman right before his eyes.

He immediately alerted the police. With the assistance of Naseeb Singh and the Dial-112 service, the woman was rushed to the Civil Hospital in Ambala Cantt, where doctors pronounced her dead. Currently, the body has been placed in the hospital’s mortuary. The police are actively searching for the absconding driver, and CCTV footage from the surrounding area is being scrutinized.
