Aam Aadmi Clinics provide free treatment, essential medicines and diagnostic services to patients. Each clinic offers 107 essential medicines and 47 types of lab tests free of charge. This provides financial relief to the public and helps ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.

Medical officers and trained staff are deployed in every clinic

To improve primary healthcare services, each Aam Aadmi Clinic is staffed with a medical officer, pharmacist, and trained healthcare staff. The aim is to provide patients with essential healthcare services at one place and make the treatment process more convenient. 100 new Aam Aadmi Clinics have been launched across the state. With this expansion, the total number of these clinics in Punjab has crossed 1,000 and is expected to reach 1,200 by October. This initiative by the Punjab Government aims to provide free, accessible, and quality primary healthcare services to citizens near their homes.

Healthcare services are improving with modern IT systems

Clinics are using modern IT-based healthcare systems to streamline patient registration, diagnosis, treatment and medication distribution. This system helps improve healthcare management and provide more effective patient care.

Benefits to pregnant women and patients with chronic illnesses

Aam Aadmi Clinics provide a variety of vital healthcare services in addition to general treatment. These include free prenatal care for pregnant women, treatment for dog bites, family planning services, and screening and treatment for hypertension, diabetes and other non-communicable diseases.

A major step towards strengthening the primary healthcare system

The launch of 100 new Aam Aadmi Clinics has further expanded the scope of primary healthcare services in Punjab. This punjab government initiative aims to ensure that more citizens of the state have access to quality healthcare near their homes without financial burden. Additionally an emphasis is being placed on strengthening the punjab primary healthcare system and making treatment more accessible to the general public.
