The aim is to provide patients with essential healthcare services at one place and make the treatment process more convenient. 100 new Aam Aadmi Clinics have been launched across the state. With this expansion, the total number of these clinics in Punjab has crossed 1,000 and is expected to reach 1,200 by October. Aam Aadmi Clinics provide a variety of vital healthcare services in addition to general treatment. These include free prenatal care for pregnant women, treatment for dog bites, family planning services, and screening and treatment for hypertension, diabetes and other non-communicable diseases.
