Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s health suddenly deteriorated on Saturday morning. He was immediately brought to IGMC Shimla for a health checkup, where the doctors conducted tests and advised him to rest. After the examination, he returned to the CM’s official residence, Oak Over in Shimla.
Regarding the CM’s health, IGMC Senior Medical Superintendent Dr. Rahul Rao said that after experiencing mild stomach pain, the CM had reached IGMC for a health checkup. Now he is fine and has been sent home. His health is improving, and he is resting at the official residence, Oak Over.
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu chaired a cabinet meeting just yesterday and was in good health. He suddenly experienced stomach pain late at night. The Chief Minister also fell ill on 7th October when doctors diagnosed him with a stomach infection and pancreatitis. After being admitted to AIIMS Delhi for a week, he returned healthy. In June 2023, he received treatment from a private hospital in Chandigarh.
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu was scheduled to go to Jammu & Kashmir yesterday, as the Congress high command has made him a star campaigner for the Jammu & Kashmir assembly elections. However, following his recent stomach ache, there are doubts about him being able to attend.
