High Alert in Kashmir ahead of Pahalgam Attack first anniversary; Security Heightened at Dal lake

Security arrangements have been tightened at major tourist destinations across Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack. Security agencies appear fully alert and prepared to counter any potential threats.

Acting on directives from the Central Government, personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have been deployed in coordination with the local police. Patrolling has been intensified around Srinagar’s famous Dal Lake and its adjoining areas.
