High-Speed Collision on Kala Singha Road Leaves Woman Seriously Injured

Jalandhar: An Alto car and a motorcycle collided violently on Kala Singha Road in Jalandhar. The car was completely damaged, with one of its tyres ripped off due to the impact. A young woman travelling in the car sustained serious injuries and was immediately admitted to a private hospital. Police reached the scene and have launched an investigation.

According to eyewitnesses, the car was moving at a very high speed, which led to the intensity of the crash. The impact was so severe that one of the car’s tyres broke off completely.

Locals Gather as Traffic Disrupted

A large number of locals gathered at the spot soon after the incident. The Alto suffered extensive damage, particularly to its front portion, after reportedly colliding with a motorcycle and veering off the road.

Kala Singha Road, known for heavy traffic, witnessed significant disruption for a considerable time following the accident.

Woman Critical, Family in Shock

A family was travelling in the car at the time of the accident. According to the victim’s father, his daughter sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment.

While the father escaped with minor injuries, he appeared to be in a state of shock following the incident.

Police Begin Probe into Cause

Police officials who reached the spot began clearing the damaged vehicle from the road to restore traffic movement. Authorities are now investigating the exact cause of the accident, including whether it resulted from speeding or a possible technical fault.
