Himachal: Annual examinations for non-board classes will begin on November 27, datesheet released

Assessment exams for grades 6 and 7 will begin on November 27th in Himachal Pradesh’s winter vacation schools. Exams for grades 1, 2, and 4 will begin on December 1st. The State Project Office of the Samagra Shiksha Pariyojana has released the exam datesheet.

No student is failed in these classes. Annual grading will be based on the marks obtained in the assessment exam. The exams will begin at 10:30 a.m. at all centers.

The two-and-a-half-hour exam will last until 1:00 p.m. Orders have been issued to all district deputy directors to ensure smooth conduct of the exams. Lakhs of students studying in government schools across the state will take these exams.

The exam results will be uploaded on the e-Samvad app. Results will be declared on December 31st. The new academic session for winter schools will begin in February 2026. These exams will be conducted in all government and private schools affiliated with the School Education Board.
