There was uproar in the House on the third day of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Monsoon Session. During the Question Hour, there was a heated exchange between the ruling party and the opposition on the issue of Job Trainee Policy and unemployment.
Unsatisfied with the answer of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on the issue of jobs in the state, the opposition members walked out of the House shouting slogans. During the Question Hour, the BJP demanded an account of the jobs given during the tenure of the current government.
Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur and MLA Vikram Singh Thakur said that the Congress had promised to give one lakh jobs in a year and five lakh jobs in five years in its election manifesto.
He said that Congress has misled the people of the state by giving false guarantees. When the Chief Minister started answering the questions of the opposition and started counting the jobs one by one, the opposition said that false figures were being presented.
