Himachal: Baghat Bank AGM suspended for negligence in work

The Board of Directors of Baghat Bank has suspended the Assistant General Manager (AGM) for negligence in his duties. According to reports, on February 27th, the Assistant General Manager was ordered to take possession of two properties in Salogra, near Solan, and Dharja, near Nauni.

The AGM refused, stating that the bank was closed on Saturdays and would not take possession. Consequently, the bank’s Managing Director, Rajkumar Kashyap, had to personally visit both properties to take possession.

When the matter reached the bank’s Board of Directors on Monday, they immediately issued orders suspending the AGM. Subsequently, the bank’s management took action on Tuesday, suspending the AGM.

Meanwhile, Bank Chairman Arun Sharma stated that the Board of Directors had decided to suspend the AGM, pursuant to which this action was taken.
