Himachal: CM Sukhu meets Rajni Patil, discussion on various issues

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu met AICC General Secretary and Himachal Pradesh Congress Affairs In-Charge Rajni Patil in Shimla on Saturday. It was a courtesy visit. After this, CM Sukhu, while talking to journalists, said that the party’s programs were discussed with the in-charge Rajni Patil. A detailed discussion was held on how to give direction to the party.

Regarding the appointment of the state Congress President, Sukhu said that the high command is discussing the formation of the organization. He has not given any name from his side, for him, all leaders are equal.

There is no faction in the party; the entire party is running on the Congress ideology. If any leader of the party is made the president, we will fully support them. Sukhu said that the BJP says something else and does something else. There was a discussion for four days in the Assembly under Rule-67, but when it came to giving a reply, the opposition walked out.

The Leader of the Opposition, who raised the issue of Rule-67 did not even come to the House. The CM said that no relief was received from the Center.

The state government is giving relief packages to the disaster-affected people despite the financial condition not being good with its limited resources. Still BJP is doing politics on it, walking out, this is wrong.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu was presented a cheque of Rs 77000 for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund by General Secretary of Tandon Club Kangra, Nageshwar Mankotia in Shimla.
