Himachal: Kasauli’s Heritage Market’s shops Engulfed in flames; firefighting team on Scene

A massive fire broke out early this morning in the Heritage area of ​​Kasauli, resulting in the burning down of several shops. Three fire tenders from the Fire Department are currently attempting to bring the blaze under control.

The exact cause of the fire remains unknown. Representing the administration, Kasauli SDM Mahendra Pratap Singh and Dharampur SHO are present at the scene.

The fire is reported to have started around 3:30 AM. A short circuit is suspected to be the probable cause of the incident. Between 12 and 14 gas cylinders have also exploded. Approximately seven shops have been completely gutted by the fire; these include shops selling momos, toys, and clothing, as well as a café, the location where the fire is believed to have originated.
