Himachal Pradesh: 5 IAS Officers given additional charge

Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government on Tuesday issued a notification assigning additional responsibilities to five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers with immediate effect. The appointments will remain in force until further orders.

According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel (Appointment-I Section), the Governor of Himachal Pradesh approved the additional charge assignments in the public interest.

As per the order, Aditya Negi (IAS: 2013), currently serving as Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd., has been given the additional charge of Director, Industries.

Kamal Kant Saroch (IAS: 2013), Chief Executive Officer of HIMURJA, will additionally serve as Director, Tourism & Civil Aviation.

Shubh Karan Singh (IAS: 2015), Special Secretary (Education) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, has been assigned the additional responsibility of Director, Energy.

Similarly, Shivam Pratap Singh (IAS: 2017), Director of Youth Services and Sports, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Managing Director, Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC).

The government has also assigned Abhishek Verma (IAS: 2018), Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh MILKFED, the additional charge of Director, Digital Technologies & Governance.
