Himachal Pradesh: Cabinet meeting likely on 22nd, many decisions may be approved

The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet meeting is expected to take place on November 22nd. Draft bills to be presented in the winter session to be held in Tapovan, Dharamshala, will be discussed. Agendas for several departments, including health and education, will also be discussed at the cabinet meeting. Several other important decisions may also be made.

CM May Visit New Delhi on the 16th
The 32nd meeting of the Northern Zonal Council will be held in Surajkund on November 17th, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu himself may travel to New Delhi on November 16th to attend this meeting. The Chief Ministers, Lieutenant Governors, and Chief Secretaries of Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and the Union Territories of Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh have been invited to this meeting. Inter-state issues will be discussed.

GST Assessment and Collection Discussion on the 17th
GST assessment, levy, and collection discussions will be held at the State Secretariat on November 17th. This meeting will be chaired by Additional Chief Secretary, Industries Department, RD Nazim. The meeting will discuss the assessment, levy, and collection of GST on minerals. The Director of Industries and officials from the Finance Department will be present. The meeting will also review revenue collection and tax assessments from previous years.
