Himachal Pradesh Transfers IPS Officer Abhishek S., Appoints Him Kullu SP

Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has transferred IPS officer Abhishek S. (HP:2019) and appointed him as the Superintendent of Police (SP), Kullu, with immediate effect in the public interest.

Officer Was Holding Additional Charge of CID Cyber Crime Wing

According to a notification issued by the Home Department on August 5, 2026, Abhishek S., who was serving as Superintendent of Police (Law & Order), Police Headquarters, Shimla, and was also holding the additional charge of SP, Cyber Crime (CID), Himachal Pradesh, has now been posted as SP, Kullu.

Outgoing Kullu SP Directed to Report to Police Headquarters

The notification states that Shri Madan Lal-II, HPPS (2006), the outgoing Superintendent of Police, Kullu, has been directed to report to the Police Headquarters, Shimla, with immediate effect. His fresh posting orders will be issued separately.

The transfer order was issued by the Department of Home, Government of Himachal Pradesh, and signed by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
