Rain likely in Himachal, yellow alert in 4 districts

The weather in Himachal Pradesh is expected to remain bad today. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain in the state. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for rain in four districts of the state: Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi. In these areas, rain is likely along with thunder and lightning, and strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour.

According to the Meteorological Department, it will be seen in the central and high hilly areas of the state. In some places in these areas, light rain and light snowfall in the higher regions may occur. Meanwhile, the department has predicted clear weather in Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti, Una, Bilaspur, and Hamirpur. According to the IMD, the weather will remain normal.

Clear weather until April 24

According to the Meteorological Department, from April 20, the weather will become clear in the state. After this, the weather in most parts of the state will remain dry. However, on April 20, rain may be seen in the higher regions of the state. Besides this, in most parts of the state, the weather is expected to remain clear until April 24.

After the weather clears, the temperature will rise

According to the IMD, there are chances of a rise in temperature in the state after the weather clears. In the coming days, the maximum temperature may increase by 2 to 5 degrees Celsius, gradually increasing the effect of the heat.
