Himachal Weather: Rain and snowfall expected in high altitude areas; light clouds over Shimla.

Rain and snowfall are expected in the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh. The weather is likely to change due to the activity of a Western Disturbance. Today, the capital Shimla and the surrounding areas are experiencing sunshine with light clouds.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature was recorded below 5 degrees Celsius at 11 locations in the state. The mercury dropped below freezing point in Tabo, Samdo, and Kukumseri.

Weather Forecast until December 19
According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, due to the activity of a Western Disturbance, the weather may change in some parts of the state from tonight. Under its influence, rain and snowfall are expected in the higher mountainous regions of the state on December 14. The weather is likely to remain dry across the state from December 15 to 19. Dense fog was recorded in Bilaspur and light fog in Mandi. A fog alert has also been issued for some places today.
