Sunny spell in Himachal, temps rise before rain on April 25

In Himachal Pradesh, the sun has been shining since this morning. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the plains of the state will experience intense heat for the next three days. Sunshine is expected in the mountains until April 24. This will cause a rise of two to three degrees in the temperature of several cities, but the heat will not trouble for long.

According to the IMD, a western disturbance is becoming active on the night of April 24. This may lead to rainfall throughout the state on April 25. A yellow alert for thunderstorms has been issued in the districts of Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi. Rain is also expected in the higher and mid-altitude areas on April 26 and 27. This will provide relief from the heat.

On the same Tuesday, the maximum temperature in most cities was recorded above normal. Una’s temperature was recorded at 38.0 degrees Celsius, which is 2.6 degrees higher than normal.

Shimla’s maximum temperature was also 25.4 degrees, 2.9 degrees above normal, Sundernagar at 34.3 degrees, Bhuntar at 32.0 degrees, and Dharamshala at 31.0 degrees.
