200 doctors and 12 environmental officers to be recruited in Himachal, Public Service Commission invites applications

The examination fee for general category candidates has been fixed at Rs 600.

Shimla: 200 doctors will be recruited in Himachal Pradesh Health Department. The state government is going to fill 200 posts of health officers through the Public Service Commission. The State Public Service Commission (HPPSC) on Wednesday invited online recruitment applications (ORA) from interested and eligible candidates for recruitment. The last date for online application has been fixed as 31 December 2024. Candidates will be able to pay the application fee till 11:59 pm on 31 December 2024. The examination fee once paid will not be refunded.

The examination fee for general category candidates has been fixed at Rs 600. Male candidates of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes and EWS falling under unreserved BPL categories and ex-servicemen candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes categories of Himachal Pradesh are Rs 150. No fee will be charged for female candidates and ex-servicemen male candidates.

Along with this, the Commission has sought online recruitment applications (ORA) to fill 12 posts of Environment Officer, Class-I (Gazetted) on a contract basis in the Department of Environment, Science, Technology and Climate Change. Candidates will also be able to apply online for these posts till 31 December. Its examination fee will be Rs 600. No fee will be charged from female candidates and candidates of some other categories.
