On Saturday afternoon, a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus and a truck collided head-on in Shimla, injuring 3 people. The accident took place in Hassan Valley, where HRTC bus number HP06A-6181 and an Eicher truck number HP 62-2516 collided head-on.
In this, one person’s both legs were broken. The accident took place around 1:45 pm on Saturday. The HRTC bus was overtaking a vehicle in Hassan Valley. While overtaking, the bus collided with a truck. Three people were injured in this, and the condition of one person is critical, whose both legs are broken.
All the injured have been referred to Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), Shimla, for treatment, where they are undergoing treatment. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the team from the Dhali police station reached the spot. The local administration is investigating the matter. At present, the injured have not been identified. The police have started investigating the identity of the injured and the cause of the accident.
