Mansa: Mansa police has arrested four more accused in the case of firing at the house of transporter Pragat Singh, close to Sidhu Moosewala, and demanding a ransom of Rs 30 lakh. The police have arrested these accused from Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh.
The arrested accused include Gurdaspur shooter Amritpal Singh, Sukhbir alias Soni Mann, Jashanpreet Singh and Noorpreet. All the accused were produced in the court today, from where they have been sent on four-day police remand.
2 accused have already been arrested
The incident took place on Sunday night, when two miscreants on a motorcycle opened fire at Pragat Singh’s house and demanded a ransom of Rs 30 lakh. The police took immediate action in the case and first arrested two accused including Jassi Panchar.
Weapons were ordered from Pakistan through drones
According to sources, the weapons used in the incident were brought from Pakistan via drones. The police are investigating this angle thoroughly. This case is particularly sensitive because the victim Pragat Singh is close to the deceased Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
