Bilapsur: Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu today reviewed the preparations for the huge rally being organized to mark the completion of two years of the state government at Luhnu ground in Bilaspur. He directed the district administration to ensure proper arrangements for this rally. This rally will start on December 11 at 11 am.
The Chief Minister said that more than 30 thousand people are expected to participate in this rally. This event will be organized on the theme ‘Atmanirbhar Himachal through Vyavastha Parivartan’. He directed the administration to ensure all arrangements according to the number of people coming to the rally, so that no one has to face any inconvenience.
The Chief Minister also gave necessary instructions to the District Administration Bilaspur to make proper arrangements for vehicles and smooth movement of traffic. He also directed to make proper arrangements for clean drinking water, toilets and food items for the people coming to the rally. He said that six new schemes would be launched on the occasion, including e-taxi under Rajiv Gandhi Start-up Swarojgar Yojana, Indira Gandhi Sukh Shiksha Yojana for providing higher education to the children of widows, Himachal Pradesh Shiva Project, Him Bhog Atta, Gobar Purchase Scheme and transfer of funds to the concerned farmers for the purchase of naturally produced maize. Apart from this, five AYUSH mobile vans would also be flagged off.
He said that cheques would also be distributed to the beneficiaries of Old Pension Scheme and Mukhyamantri Sukh Ashray Yojana. He said that freedom fighters would also be felicitated by the state government during the function. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee in-charge and All India Congress Committee General Secretary Rajiv Shukla would be the chief guest at the function. The Chief Minister also issued necessary guidelines to the Deputy Commissioners who participated in the meeting through virtual medium.
