Himachal Pradesh: Last date for ration card KYC releases, know what is the last date

Spokeperson of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department urged all consumers to cooperate in completing the e-KYC process on time.

Shimla: A spokesperson of the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department said here today that the date for getting the e-KYC of the ration cards of consumers done by the department has been extended until July 31, 2024. He said that some consumers were deprived of getting e-KYC done for themselves and their family members. For the convenience of such people, the date for completion of the e-KYC process has been extended by the department.

He said that this facility is available in all Lokmitra Kendras in the country.

He has also urged all the ration card consumers of Himachal Pradesh living in other states to ensure that they get eKYC done by visiting their nearest Lok Mitra Kendra. To ensure transparency in ration distribution by the department, it is being ensured through e-KYC that the name, date of birth, and gender of the person recorded on the ration card are based on the data recorded in Aadhaar. Given this, the process of e-KYC has been started across the state. He urged all consumers to cooperate in completing the e-KYC process on time.
