Bharmour: An Alto car went out of control and fell into the Ravi River near Durgethi on the Bharmour-Pathankot National Highway. The accident happened around midnight. In this accident, one youth travelling in the car died on the spot, and the other youth got injured. The youth is said to be from Mohalla Hardaspur in Chamba.
According to the information, this morning, people were walking from Durgethi towards Luna to open their shops. At that time, a car was seen lying in the Ravi River. In which a youth was seen lying dead on the banks of the river. As soon as this information was received, a crowd of local people gathered. Information about the accident was given to the Bharmour police station.
On inquiry, it was found that both the youths are residents of Hardaspur in Chamba. The local people immediately picked up the injured man and sent him to Medical College Chamba for treatment. The deceased and the injured youth could not be identified.
