The employees of the corporation had demanded the replacement of Bali by holding a press conference in Shimla last Saturday and held him responsible for the bankruptcy of the corporation.
RS Bali will answer these allegations by holding a press conference in Shimla today and will react to the High Court’s orders to keep the loss-making hotels of the corporation open.
Daaveram Chauhan, in-charge of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and retired from Tourism Corporation, said that the employees-pensioners of the corporation tried to meet the chairman several times but he did not give time to meet. He held the chairman responsible for the current financial condition of HPTDC demanded his removal from the post, and urged the Chief Minister to take the Tourism Corporation under himself. He also said that the previous Tourism Corporation has always been with the Chief Minister. But CM Sukhu has appointed MLA RS Bali from Nagarota Bagwan as the Chairman of the Tourism Corporation with cabinet rank.
