A car parked on the roadside outside the SDM office in Sundarnagar, Mandi district, suddenly caught fire. The car was burnt to ashes in no time. Fortunately, no person was present in the car during the accident, due to which there was no loss of life. However, the car was completely burnt to ashes due to the fire. Another car present at the spot at the time of the accident also caught fire. But it was removed from here in time.

According to the information, a vehicle owner had parked his vehicle on the roadside from Lalit Nagar to MLSM College in sub-division Sundarnagar on Thursday morning. During this time, the car suddenly caught fire.

On receiving the information of the incident, SDM Sundarnagar Amar Negi, DSP Bharat Bhushan along with local councilor, police personnel reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Due to the fire in the car, a long line of vehicles was formed on both sides. After the information, three fire engines reached the spot and controlled the fire. SDM Amar Negi said that the vehicle was completely burnt in the accident. He said that strict action will be taken by the police on unauthorized parking outside the SDM office and on the MLSM road. Written office orders have also been issued regarding this.

At the same time, a Bullet caught fire on the road leading to Lakkar Bazaar in front of Judio showroom in Solan city. The motorcycle was completely burnt to ashes due to the fire. It is being told that the bike was parked there since night and in the morning it suddenly caught fire due to sparking in the electricity wires passing above it. On receiving the information, the fire department team reached the spot and extinguished the fire.
