In the House, Kuldeep Singh Rathore, MLA from Theog said, “Farmers and orchardists are hurt by Kangana’s statement. Kangana always has a habit of speaking nonsense. She comes from the area of former CM Jairam Thakur. 700 farmers were martyred. It is not right to call farmers rapists.”

After this, the Speaker stood on the chair in the House and said, the BJP high command has also distanced itself from Kangana’s statement. Therefore, there is no need for a vote on this. Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said, “it is not the tradition of this House to discuss a member who is not in this House. The party has already made it clear that this is not the opinion of the party. This may be her personal opinion. When the party has denied it. In such a situation, what is the need to bring it to the House.”
