Shimla: The body of a man found in guest of Sri Naina Devi area, under Police Station in Kot kahlur, and it is suspected that the person died of drug overdose. The deceased has been indentified as Somnath, a resident of Quality Chownk Preet Nagar Post Office Shimlapuri, Ludhiana, Punjab.
According to the reports, Somnath was staying with the another person who fled from the scene after this incident. Police received the information about the death and quickly reach the location, where they styarted their investigation. During the forensic investigation , a syringe and needle found from the pocket of the deceased person. Team suspects that death can be from drug overdose.
Police sent the body to the Regional Hospital Bilaspur for postmortem and search for the other person is on. Meanwhile, DSP Headquarters Madan Dhiman said that the investigation of the case is going on.
