Himachal Pradesh: Boycott of Lok Sabha elections at two polling stations of ‘Chamba’ district of Himachal Pradesh. Not a single vote has been cast at Makkan and Chachul polling stations of Sanwal Gram Panchayat. On the other hand, the election has also been boycotted at the jury booth in Charda of Churah sub-division.

The villagers deprived of basic facilities said in a harsh tone that till the road is not built in our village, we will not vote. The villagers said that if the Deputy Commissioner of Chamba reaches the spot, then in that situation the voting can be done conditionally, but till the last news, the problem of the villagers was not resolved.

The villagers said that the government has not yet come to know why the village here is in a bad condition. There are mountains and rivers on both sides. Difficulties are being faced due to lack of road. Earlier, there was a boycott in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections as well, but there was no solution.
