A car fell into a 100-meter deep ditch near Taklech market in Rampur of Shimla district. The car driver has suffered serious injuries in the accident. With the help of local people, the police took the injured to the hospital. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
According to the information, on Sunday evening, a Brezza car slipped off the road and fell into a ditch about 100 meters deep. Car driver Yashwant Singh suffered serious injuries. Yashwant is a resident of Devthi. Local people immediately informed the Taklech police station.
The police team reached the spot. With the help of local people, the injured driver was pulled out of the ditch. He was first taken to Taklech hospital. When a doctor was not available there, he was referred to Khaneri hospital. Eyewitnesses said that the main reason for the accident is the lack of safety railing on the roadside.
Local people have demands from the PWD department. They said that a safety railing should be installed soon at the accident site and the entire route. This will prevent such accidents in the future. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
