According to the Meteorological Department, many parts of Shimla, Mandi, Kullu, Chamba, Kangra and Sirmaur may receive light rain during the coming week.

A yellow alert has also been issued for storm and hailstorm at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in these districts. Due to this, the temperature of these cities will remain below normal, while the heat will increase in the lower areas of Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Solan districts. Western Disturbance will remain active for the next 6 days.

Chamba’s temperature dropped 4.9 degrees below normal

The maximum temperature of Chamba dropped to 33.4 degrees after falling 4.9 degrees below normal. The temperature of Dharamsala dropped to 27.0 degrees after a drop of 4.7 degrees, Nahan dropped to 29.7 degrees after a drop of 4.2 degrees, Solan dropped to 29 degrees after a drop of 3.3 degrees and the maximum temperature of Shimla dropped to 24.4 degrees after a drop of 1.4 degrees below normal.

There was no heat wave in May
