Chances of rain in Himachal in next 48 hours: Yellow alert for storm and hailstorm in 5 districts

Shimla: In Himachal Pradesh, the second week of April is experiencing May-like heat. The temperature of many cities has increased by 7 degrees from normal. According to the Meteorological Department, relief from the heat can now be expected. Western disturbance is becoming active in the state. Due to this, there are chances of rain in some areas today and tomorrow.

There may be heavy rainfall, especially in Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi and Lahaul Spiti districts. Along with rain, the warning has also been issued for storm, lightning and hailstorms in these districts. A yellow alert has been issued regarding this.

There is a forecast of light rain in other districts as well. It may rain in most parts of the state today and tomorrow.

Una’s temperature reached 38 degrees

Day after tomorrow, i.e. on 12th April, there will be light drizzle only in the higher regions. From 13th April, the weather will become clear across the state. Meanwhile, the temperature of 12 cities of the state has crossed 30 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Una has reached 38 degrees Celsius, 5 degrees more than normal.

The average temperature of the state is 4 degrees more than normal

At the same time, the average maximum temperature of the state has increased by 4 degrees above normal. The maximum temperature of Kalpa has increased to 22.5 degrees, 7.1 degrees above normal.

The maximum temperature of Shimla has increased by 5.3 degrees to 25.2 degrees, the mercury of Bhuntar has increased by 5.6 degrees to 31.5 degrees, the temperature of Dharamsala has increased by 4.9 degrees from normal to 30.0 degrees Celsius.
