Himachal Pradesh witnessed its first snowfall of the season, with high-altitude areas of Lahaul-Spiti covered in snow as rain continued in lower regions.
It has been raining in Himachal's capital Shimla since 4 am. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a fresh bulletin and forecast rain in Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu, Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti districts till 12 noon.
Western Disturbance (WD) is becoming active again in Himachal Pradesh from today. Due to this, light snowfall may occur in the higher areas of Chamba and Lahaul Spiti districts today.
