Shimla: In Himachal Pradesh, the weather will remain clear at most places across the state till March 26. However, the IMD has forecast that very light rain or snowfall may occur at some places in very high altitude areas of Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Chamba, Kangra and Kullu. A large number of tourists are also reaching high altitude areas to enjoy the snow. The mountains are likely to remain covered with snow for two weeks.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the state will remain stable for 2 days. After this, the minimum temperature will increase by 3-4 degrees Celsius in the next 3-4 days. The maximum temperature is also expected to increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius. After the rise in temperature, the heat will increase in the state.
On the other hand, after the snowfall last week, the tourist places have become lively again. A large number of tourists from the plains are reaching various places of Kullu and Lahaul Spiti. Crowds of tourists are being seen at Solang Nala, Koksar, the southern and northern gates of Atal Tunnel Rohtang and Hamta Pass.
