In fact, the new Congress president is to be crowned in Himachal. Due to factio nalism, the high command has not been able to decide for seven months. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu wants to make the state Congress president of his choice.
But the Holly Lodge faction does not agree with the names suggested by Sukhu, because appointing both the CM and the party president from the same faction means completely ignoring the other faction. For this, a post was put up on a Facebook page named Pratibha Singh PCC President a few days ago, in which it was written that Vikramaditya Singh was described as the best option for the President to contest the 2027 assembly elections and it was advocated to hand over the command to Holly Lodge.
