In an attack on the Sukhu-led congress government, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that the state government has crossed all limits of corruption. He added that it is very unfortunate that name of the Chief Minister people very close to the CM have come up in these scams and corruption cases.
Jairam Thakur said that the terms of the tender are being decided sitting in the Chief Minister’s office and people are being allotted work at his behest. He added that scams are being done to benefit CM’s close people.
He even alleged that a tender worth Rs. 175 crore is being given for Rs. 245 crore.
“The names of people very close to the Chief Minister are coming up in the mining scam in the state. Even during the time of disaster, the crushers of people very close to the CM were running. Not only this, within two months of the formation of the government, the government changed the mining policy and benefited its close ones and friends.” said Thakur.
Thakur said that the way corruption of the Sukhu government is coming to light is absolutely shocking. No one has seen such a government in the state before where development is zero and scams are at their peak. Day by day the state is being burdened with debt. Youth, farmers, unemployed, gardeners, everyone is being cheated. Every section is fed up with the government and is on the streets.
Jairam Thakur said that This is the reason why ten ministers including the Chief Minister lost the elections in their constituencies. Assured of the victory in bypolls, BJP leader said that Congress will be wiped out in the coming elections. BJP will win all three seats and there will be a change of power in Congress.
